Ross Kennedy - Scots, Burns and Folk Singer

Ross Kennedy has been a professional folk musician for over 25 years. He has toured, recorded and played with Scottish legends The Tannahill Weavers and was also the founding member of great bands such as The Iron Horse, The Jura Ceilidh Band and Canterach. Ross also had a very successful and long lasting duo with fiddler Archie MacAllister and has went on to play in many other duos and trios in his long and varied career. He now devotes his time to his exciting pipes, fiddle and song group Canterach.

Her programmes are varied and colourful and they include arias from Opera, Musicals, Operetta and Oratorio, Scottish Folk Songs and Gaelic Music. Pandy's rich and pure voice and her innate ability to express the meaning of a song make her performances evocative, meaningful and deeply moving.

Jazz, Lounge and Cabaret Singers

Catherine Baker - Singer, Musical Theatre & Cabaret Performer

Catherine Baker is a jazz singer but, not only that, she has performed in light opera and cabaret across the UK, Europe and the US including Phantom of the Opera in London. Her hugely expressive voice can flit from playful to seductive, from melancholy to mischievous and draw the listener willingly into her world. With a vast repertoire spanning a wide range of genres, Catherine's album 'Sooner or Later' highlights the swing classics from the 30s and 40s backed by a full jazz orchestra but she's equally at home accompanied by jazz trio, piano or even harp.

Vance specializes in providing quality music from the classic age of popular song. Whether you want the finger snapping Sinatra sound or something a little more laid back, Vance will provide it. He has a working repertoire of over 500 songs, but will happily tailor his set to your specific requirements.

Shona Macdonald - Scots Singer

Shona offers a suite of songs ranging from metrical psalms through to Burns ballads. Her 'a cappella' style of singing offers a unique example of oral music incorporating elements of Presbyterian roots together with later influences of African Gospel music. Her songs are full of sensitivity and originality.
