Clare Bakewell
Want more than just one type of music for your wedding, then Clare is the best choice. She's one of those very rare musicians who can play exceptional music in a range of styles that will delight everyone. A talented harpist and singer who comfortably entertains you with Gershwin, Claption, Van Morrison, Lloyd Webber as well as Classical, Scottish and Celtic music. Clare plays a Bohemian Troubadour Harp which is very portable, so if space is an issue, then Clare and her harp would be perfect. Clare is also a medieval musician who will entrance your guests with wonderful Gothic tunes that sound right at home in a castle or country house.
Alina Bzhezhinska
Alina Bzhezhinska is an international harpist based in Edinburgh. Her diverse repertoire encompasses classical, folk and jazz music. Alina also arranges and composes jazz music for Harp and Clarsach.
Charlotte Petersen
Charlotte's warm stage presence and skilful communication have made her a sought after performer for prestigious events and a very popular for weddings throughout Scotland. Charlotte plays both the classical or concert harp plus the Clarsach (Scottish Harp). Her repertoire covers classical, Scottish traditional, ballads, airs and a range of Celtic music. Gwen Sinclair
Gwen Sinclair is a harpist and harp/clarsach teacher based in Glasgow. She is available to play at weddings or civil partnerships (both ceremonies and receptions) and functions as well as for orchestral engagements and recitals.
Jennifer Port
Jennifer's performances include playing at the weddings of Madonna and Guy Ritchie, and Travis guitarist Andy Dunlop to Jo Monaghan. She regularly plays for leading Parliamentary figures and have played for the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and Prince Edward on separate occasions.
Marie-Louise Napier
Marie-Louise sings and plays Scots, Irish and English folk melodies in a direct and unpretentious manner which appeals to a wide audience. Her harp playing is exception and will enchant your guests with wonderful Scottish and Celtic music.
Hoot
The vibrant, young duo HOOT, formed in 2005 when Emma Wilkins and Helen MacLeod were reunited at a charity concert in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. One year later, during the same festival, they made their debut performance with Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp. Both are very much in demand as orchestral and chamber musicians having worked with several distinguished groups ranging from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Northern Sinfonia and the Halle.
Rachel Hair
Rachel Hair is one of one of Scotland's finest players of the Clarsach, the traditional Harp. Born and brought up in the Scottish Highland village of Ullapool, Rachel was first introduced to the harp at the age of 10, while attending Feis Rois, one of the many Gaelic Arts Tuition Festivals, in Scotland.
