Gallivanters (5 piece band, ceilidh & some covers)

This Perthshire based band offer ceilidh dance music plus some covers including Buddy Holly, Everly Brothers and The Beatles. They blend the sounds of accordion, double bass, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and whistles, which provides dynamic yet traditional ceilidh music.

Gary Blair Ceilidh Band (Champion Accordionist, ceilidh & disco)

Renowned accordionist, Gary Blair is in great demand for his traditional and Gaelic based music. Lively playing, expertly called dances plus a disco if you wish.

Hotscotch Ceilidh Band (3 piece band, ceilidh & contemporary music)

HotScotch play a fabulous range of contemporary as well as ceilidh and traditional Scottish dance music, which is perfect for wedding reception entertainment, where you want something fun, lively and brings the whole party together. HotScotch blend accordion, fiddle and drums for music that your guests will love.

Joanie & Michael Garvin Ceilidh Band (Duo up to large ceilidh band, traditional Scottish music)

Michael and Joanie's music expresses the soul of the wild West Highlands and Coast, playing that's fluid and soulful, as synchronised as birds in flight and matching the mood of their audience whether for listening and dancing but when you hear the tempo goes up you'll be hard pressed to keep your feet still!

Reel Ale Ceilidh Band (Traditional ceilidh band, ceilidh music)

The Reel Ale Ceilidh Band are based in central Scotland and travel throughout the country for weddings and special events. They're a traditional dance band including professional calling for all the dances. The musicians are extremely professional and have many years experience playing for weddings and functions. They include a great range of ceilidh music, plus songs and clarsach as an addition.

Reelback Ceilidh Band (Traditional ceilidh band, ceilidh music)

The Reelback Ceilidh Band are based in Scotland and travel throughout the country for weddings and special events. They're a traditional dance band including professional calling for all the dances. The musicians are extremely professional and have many years experience playing for weddings and functions. They include a great range of ceilidh music, plus songs and clarsach as an addition.

The Reel Fling Ceilidh Band (3 piece ceilidh band, traditional ceilidh music)

The Reel Fling a Glasgow based band offering upbeat, energetic and innovative entertainment. Although they are a group of three, there is room for upscaling if you're having a large party. They pride themselves on being unique which is achieved through their energy and enthusiasm that they share with their audience at every single event. A disco can also be provided so that there's something to suit everyone.

Reel Stramash Ceilidh Band (Traditional accordion ceilidh band, ceilidh music)

Traditional accordion based band playing a wide range of ceilidh music plus a disco. This band has a fresh approach and youthful enthusiasm with this two accordion and drums line-up. They have an experienced caller for all the dances so you can be sure all your guests will have a great time.

Whigmaleerie Ceilidh Band (5 piece Aberdeenshire ceildh band, ceilidh music & covers)

Whigmaleerie is a five-piece group based in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland. Over 25 years experience and are available for weddings, functions and corporate events. Music includes traditional ceilidh, rock, pop and country. Something for all. A great and diverse band with something for everyone. Plus a disco and calling for the dances is available. The band will travel throughout Scotland.

Classical Guitarists


John McGhee

Classical Guitarist, John plays in a variety of styles from transcription of dignified renaissance and baroque lute music to upbeat arrangements of popular music. His favourite performance pieces are from the classical and romantic periods. Wonderfully sophisticated music from an outstanding musician. Acoustic, classical guitar music is a timeless favourite that always pleases the most discerning tastes in music.

Neil Dunnachie: Classical and medieval plus a wide range of music

Neil Dunnachie is an extremely talented musician who's specialty is medieval music but also has a vast range of music from classical through to contemporary. He's also a fantastic electric guitarist. Neil is an accomplished classical guitarist who also specialises in medieval music. A wonderful addition to your wedding particularly if you are planning a themed wedding such as medieval or celtic. Neil also forms part of the covers duo Jumpstart.

Duo Concertante (Classical, Popiular, Traditional & Jazz)

Classical, light classical, popular, traditional and jazz music from Duo Concertante. Based in Glasgow and happy to travel throughout the UK. All girl guitar and flute duo with a clear and fresh sound. Classical favourites through to Latin and popular music. Taking up less space than a quartet, Duo Concertante is an exciting young duo offering beautiful flute and guitar music from classical masterpieces and passionate Latin American rhythms to well known and innovate modern works. Adele and Sharon bring out a new beauty and refreshing depth to the sound of flute and guitar.

Sue Evans Music (Flute & Harp Duo)

Sue Evans Music is a flute and harp duo, providing music for wedding ceremonies, and background music for corporate events, drinks receptions and dinners. Based in the central belt of Scotland, we work all over Scotland; venues include five star hotels, ships, boats, beaches and castles. With over 20 years’experience playing for weddings, functions and corporate events, we are happy to work with you to help you find the right music to reflect you as a couple and which best suits your venue, size and style of wedding ensuring your wedding is unique. 

The Alba Duo (Harp & Flute Duo)

The Alba Duo are a harp and flute duo and play a wide variety of music with classical being a particular speciality. Helen and Michelle play many popular and favourite pieces including traditional Scottish, Celtic and contemporary pieces such as movie themes. They've been playing professional together for many years at weddings, functions, corporate events and recitals. A wonderful choice for the ceremony or background entertainment during the reception.

Function Bands


Groove Station (5 piece band, songs from 50's to current hits, plus jazz and ceilidh)

Groove Station are a professional five piece band covering everything from 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and current hits, jazz ceilidh. They have over 10 years experience playing for weddings, corporate events and private parties. The line-up consists of female vocals, drums, guitar, bass and keyboards. A wide repertoire of songs, this band is suitable for all occasions and you can be sure that the dance floor will be full all evening.

Obsession (5 piece band, 50's through to current hits, ceilidh and jazz)

Obsession was formed by five musicians from a broad musical background in the Edinburgh area with the aim of creating a totally LIVE quality sound and versatile repertoire to cater for weddings, corporate functions and parties. This is just a small sample of the variety of music the band play to make your occasion a success. Although the band perform every style of music from Swing, pop to traditional Scottish (with calling), they play to suit every individual occasion on the night.

Switch (rock, pop, funk, jazz and Scottish traditional)

Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz and Scottish Traditional. Switch is a funky, foot-stomping, party duo. Jimmy's driving bass riffs and and impelling vocals will sweep your guests onto the dance floor and his years of experience will find the best songs and beats to keep them there.
From 'Reet Petite' to 'Take Your Mama Out' with plenty of Paul Simon, Rolling Stones and via soul, funk, indie and swing, not to mention a ceilidh set, whenever Switch perform at a wedding people are on the dance floor, with music sounding this good you just can't help yourself!

Pop, country, rock, Scottish, literally everything! Wonderland have a fantastic range of music. They'll play everything and I mean everything from pop, country and rock through to Scottish and ceilidh. A fun and enthusiastic duo that will keep everyone dancing all night with infectious, make-you-want-to-sing-along music. Plus they'll provide a light system and disco. Calling for ceilidh dances too. A band that will go that extra mile for you!

Harpists


Ailie Robertson (Scottish, Traditional and Contemporary)

Scottish, Irish and Burns songs. Discover Scotland with Anne's emotive, funny and historical songs. Anne is a treasure of Scotland who's delightful music will make your event one to remember.

This woman is full of stories both historical and humourous that you may not have heard before but will relish once you do. She takes you on a tour of Scotland through songs and stories. A mellow voice that adds a wonderful easy-listening mood to some of Scotland and Ireland's most popular songs, including warm and inspiring Burns classics.

Charlotte Petersen (classical, Celtic, Scottish and modern)

Charlotte Petersen is genuinely one of Scotland's most talented harpists, composer and arranger playing both concert harp and Celtic harp (clarsach). Her experience includes playing throughout the U.K. and Europe and has appeared on B.B.C. Radio.

As a performer, Charlotte exudes a warm and infectious presence and is a joy to listen to. Her range of music is extensive and includes classical, jazz, swing, Celtic, Scottish and modern favourites plus, of course, her own compositions.

Christine Edwards (classical, Celtic, Scottish, contemporary, including songs)

Christine Edwards is one of those exceptionally talented wedding harpists, that play both the concert harp and Celtic harp or Scottish harp (clarsach). Christine plays elegant music and will tailor the repertoire to each client's individual requirements. She plays a vast repertoire including popular, classics and her own compositions. A true virtuoso on the harp.

Helen Thomson (Classical, Celtic (Clarsach) & Contemporary)

Helen Thomson plays a wide variety of music including classical, contemporary, traditional Scottish and folk. Her repertoire has many popular and favourite pieces from the Scottish tradition, contemporary best loved pieces, such as movie themes and all the in demand classics.

Plus, The Alba Duo is Helen's harp and flute duo which is also available for a superb alternative to harp music alone. Helen plays both the concert harp and clarsach - Celtic harp.

Iain Hood (classical, Celtic, Scottish and modern)

Classical, Celtic, Scottish and Modern. Iain Hood is an experienced harpist with a repertoire covering everything from classical favourites to mystical Celtic and juicy jazz standards. Iain is happy to play film favourites or popular modern music to suit your evening. Iain is a multi-talented musician playing both the concert harp and Celtic harp (clarsach).

For larger events, Iain can team up with other musicians such as flute, violin and cello to create an amazing range of music that will please everyone.

Julia Somerville (Celtic and Classical Harpist and Singer)

Julia plays romantic music on an elegant, ebony and gold concert harp. She composes by commission, creating a unique tribute to a special occasions. Plus, she performs beautiful songs in varying styles and has an entrancing voice. Julia perfoms vibrant, contemporary music, haunting, traditional airs, popular favourites or jazz, performed on the celtic (small, Scottish) harp and concert harp. An immensely versatile musician, offering concert harp, clarsach and voice, in a range of styles to suit all tastes.

Sharron Griffith (Celtic and Classical Harpist and Singers )

Sharron started playing the harp at the age of ten in her native Wales,she has pursued a diverse and varied career as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in recitals both on the concert platform, recording and radio broadcast’s.

Sharron works regularly with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Opera, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. She also works with several International Orchestra’s, including the Scottish Chamber Orchestra,Scottish Ensemble, Red Note Ensemble, Arctic Philharmonic to name a few.

Pianists


Jonas Cedervall (pianist/organist - romantic, jazz, easy listening, light classical, contemporary)

A professional pianist for over 20 years, Jonas can provide excellent quality piano music for your special occasion. Playing a broad range of musical styles, Jonas can play for any event, including personalised music for your ceremony, and creating an elegant atmosphere for your drinks reception and meal. Or your corporate event - making sure that your clients enjoy sophisticated, stimulating and well-played background music. Jonas will work together with you to get the musical style just right. If your venue does not have a piano, Jonas can provide his excellent quality digital piano.

Pipers


George Taylor (Piper)

George has been playing the bagpipers for over 35 years. He has competed in both solo and Grade One pipe band contests. Since retiring from competitive piping George has turned his attention to the wedding industry and all other appropriate occasions. George offers a reliable, quality service which he has provided since 2006.

Singers


Aimee Penman (Soprano - classical, jazz solo, duo, trio)

Classically trained soprano who's comfortable with singing in many different styles from classical to folk to jazz. Combine all styles for a full and varied performance. Available with guitar or piano accompanist. Jazz trio available for evening receptions or corporate events. Highly talented and degree level qualified musicians. A Cappella group option: all female group (six voices) is perfect for those who would like something a little different. Songs from countries including Norway, Romania as well as the UK. Also some lovely barber-shop-style arrangements of classic songs.

Loryn Cura

Loryn Cura is an experienced Classical & Musical Theatre singer, based in central Scotland available for weddings and corporate events. Born to Scottish and Italian parents, Loryn has always been around music and particularly opera from a young age. She sang in festivals and concerts throughout school and after completing a Master of Arts went on to perform leading roles in shows such as: The Merry Widow, Orpheus in the Underworld & several Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas.

Michelle Foster (classical, opera, oratorio, Scottish)

Classical, Opera, Oratorio, Scottish, Michelle Foster is a sensational performer with a great deal of stage experience and training. A consumate artist who loves to draw people into the performance whether on a large or small scale.

Flexible and adaptable with a wide range of repertoire, can step into a roate with a moments notice. A sensitive yet powerful singer, Michelle's repertoire and style will suit any occasion.

Pandy Arthur (classical, opera, musicals, Scottish, folk & Gaelic)

Classical, Opera, Musicals, Scottish Folk & Gaelic. Pandy Arthur is a versatile concert artist with a wide ranging repertoire. Her programmes are varied and colourful and they include arias from Opera, Musicals, Operetta and Oratorio, Scottish Folk Songs and Gaelic Music. Pandy's rich and pure voice and her innate ability to express the meaning of a song make her performances evocative, meaningful and deeply moving.

String Quartets


Capriccio (baroque, film, Scottish and more diversity)

A talented and accomplished group of musicians with a wide range of styles of music. Scale down to a trio or duo if space is tight at your venue. For something a little different, including piano, flute or even baroque music. All are professional or semi-professional musicians and have worked with top Scottish orchestras, RSNO, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and others such as the CBSO, Halle, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Also period instrument orchestras such as Scottish Baroque Players and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

Clevedon String Quartet (classical standards through to popular favourites)

Beautiful music from a lively, fun loving quartet. Perfect accompaniment to your special day. Extensive and wide ranging repertoire, including classical standards through to popular favourites. Clevedon will arrange your special music pieces on request. Based in Glasgow but will happily travel throughout Scotland. An established and respected string quartet who enjoy providing fine music for wedding ceremonies, receptions and parties.

Arta String Quartet

Since 2008 we have had an absolute blast playing at weddings and other amazing events across Scotland. Over the past few years we’ve established ourselves as Scotland’s leading young professional group and we really love working with our clients to add something special and unique to your wedding or event. Our players are all conservatoire graduates, and we all freelance with orchestras including the RSNO, BBC SSO, Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet, so you’ll enjoy a high-quality performance guaranteed.

Scotia String Quartet (based in Fife, Edinburgh and Glasgow)

A bright, enthusiastic, young and very professional group that have experience playing at hundreds of weddings and have a vast repertoire from classical to pop hits. They offer professional arrangements of favourite pieces, plus own compositions for a unique wedding piece. Whether it's Pachelbel or Pink Floyd, Mozart or Madonna, you name it, they play it. For smaller events a trio can be provides or for larger events, amplication.

Select Strings (versatile and adaptable quartet)

Select Strings are a versatile and very adaptable quartet that play classical, easy listening, opera, jazz and contemporary music. They are an experienced and professional group that have a vast repertoire that they are continually updating. A great group to cover your wedding ceremony, drinks reception and even the meal. Plus, hymns are available for wedding ceremony music.
