What Makes Ceilidh Stomp Special?

• Offering rock ceilidh, i.e. a combination of Scottish and Irish traditional jigs and reels with a lift of drums and driving bass. Their eightsome reel is a succession of exhibition standard driving tunes and fiddling!
• A very good caller. The vast majority of their reviews mention their caller's ability to get folk on the floor and then to help them understand the dance.
• They're so often told that their music and sets are just wonderful. Even if folk aren't dancing they very often find they're sitting there smiling, toe-tapping and clapping instead of sitting talking amongst each other.
• Can add accordion and extra fiddle.

Ceilidh Stomp are a highly successful ceilidh band based in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland with a reputation for providing a dynamic, up-tempo, fun ceilidh at any event. They are one of Aberdeen's most popular ceilidh bands and has considerable experience playing at weddings, corporate functions, special birthdays and fund raisers.

"Thank you for organising a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding. Having a band with a good caller was a real bonus. Most of our guests had never attended a ceilidh before and loved every minute of it. They are now trying to figure out how to introduce reels to the locals of Lincolnshire. It was great to have a wedding dance where everyone got on the dance floor together. It wasn't 'uncool' to dance with your auntie and we even spotted an eight year old attempting to ‘strip the willow’ with an eighty year old.
