Select Strings, established in 1999 are all graduates of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and have performed with many of Britains leading orchestras.

The group has many years of experience performing at weddings including playing at churches and reception venues across Britain. Corporate clients have included the BBC, HRH Queen Elizabeth II, Scotlands First Minister.

Select Strings can cater for any situation, from background music to church hymns, from Mozart to Sinatra. You name it, we they provide it. One of the unique points about Select Strings is their vast range of music which continually updated. Past clients are always extremely impressed with how versatile the quartet is. Plus, you can request a particular piece of music if it's not already on our extensive repertoire list.

Select Strings realise how important it is for you and your guests to enjoy themselves and for you to leave a lasting impression with them. This means they will always play music which is suitable for the occasion - if your event is generally quiet and laid back, they'll play music to match. If everyone is after having lots of fun, they can easily match that mood as well. Whether that's a ceremony, a drinks reception, a meal or all three, Select Strings will always match our music to your event.

Hymns can also be played during your ceremony if you prefer not to have an organist, or if you just love the sound of a string quartet.

Select Strings are based in East Fife so weddings and functions can be catered for all over Fife, the Lothians, Edinburgh, Glasgow and their surrounding areas. If you're not sure what music you would like, they can easily make some suitable suggestions.
