Ray is Scotland's finest storyteller and master of ceremonies. He has travelled all over Scotland and overseas for weddings, special events, corporate events, the Scottish Tourist Office, Schools and festivals. He offers a very special and unique addition to your wedding day, particularly if you are planning a themed wedding.
Dressed in the traditional costume of the time, and carrying authentic weapons and equipment, Ray tells tales from Scottish History, allowing the audience to get a true sense of the past, and to learn how life in the Highlands has changed in the last 250 years.
Ray was born in Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands, and has lived all of his life there. He currently lives in Culloden, on the outskirts of Inverness, and within two miles of the site of the last battle fought on British soil.
Ray brings Scottish history to life. Hear the story of the events leading up to the battle at Culloden or the real story of 'Braveheart' during the Scottish Wars of Independence (1286-1320). In character, he tells of his experiences in the Jacobite army as he followed Bonnie Prince Charlie to within 130 miles of London and the long road home to Culloden or of his experiences as he fought with Andrew de Moray, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce at the battles of Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn.
