You know how people come to Scotland wanting to hear traditional songs but they also want to know what they're about. Most Scottish singers and bands just sing songs with no explanation and move on to the next song. Anne knows Scotland, the land and it's myths, places and history, and connects them with traditional and self-penned songs that weave a magic like the bards of old.
Anne is a treasure of Scotland who's delightful music will make your event one to remember. This woman is full of stories both historical and humourous that you may not have heard before but will relish once you do. She takes you on a tour of Scotland through songs and stories. A mellow voice that adds a wonderful easy-listening mood to some of Scotland and Ireland's most popular songs, including warm and inspiring Burns classics.
A prominent presence with style, Anne would make the perfect musical MC to your event.
Born and brought up in Kinross, Anne is now based in Inchture, Perthshire. Music has always been part of Anne's life and her advancement as a professional musician in the early 90's was natural for her. She is proud to have shared the stage with Peter Morrison, The Alexander Brothers, Gaberlunzie, The Fureys, Ian Powrie, Gordon Patullo, Jimmy Logan and many more.
Anne Pack is a singer/songwriter/guitarist with wealth of knowledge on Scottish history who likes nothing better than telling stories interwoven with traditional songs that reflect the period, time and place of the tales. She has many years experience in reading an audience and involving them in the performance and has written many songs herself, all rich in local colour and with a tale to tell.
