Gaita
Gaïta is a group based in Edinburgh dedicated to Medieval Music playing music of the 12th-15th centuries from all over Europe and especially Scotland, France, Spain and Italy. Instruments played include a number of the medieval 'bas' (soft) instruments - fiddles, harps, early lutes - and also the instruments of the early 'Alta' (loud) band - shawms, bagpipes, percussion.
