This ensemble dynamiclly brings to life Jazz and Swing songs and tunes from Ella Fitzgerald, Gershwin, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck and draws on those classic Blue Note jazz recordings.
This band really knows how to swing with a combo of the country's top jazz musicians providing a stunning example of ability and a musical groove wide enough to lose yourself in.
Angela King on vocals and George King (piano) are among Scotland's busiest entertainers. After twenty years together, working in London's top hotels, they came to Scotland and fell in love with the scenery and the vibrant Scottish Jazz scene.
The other members of the band give a solidarity of sound and approach rarely found in today's fragmented jazz circuit. Ritchie Keane (bass), Mike Travis (funky drums) and George Pitblado (guitar) play regularly at jazz venues throughout Scotland.
