The Knights of Monymusk
Scottish Historical and Medieval Re-Enactment Group
The Knights of Monymusk are a living history and re-enactment group specialising in the re-enactment of the life and times of the people of Medieval Scotland.
The Knights of Monymusk cover all Medieval eras from the Viking raids to Flodden, bringing to life characters from the period and demonstrating their arts from scribe to storyteller, knight to beggar thief, black monk to lady minstrel.
Members of the public, and especially children, who can form their own trained 'army' are encouraged to ask questions and join in the fun; to try their hand at archery, at making chain mail, writing with a quill, learning the usages of herbs and hides, playing simple instruments and making up their own designs for shields. Adults can even have their fortunes told!
