The Battle Scar team, run by Ian Deveney, have developed a number of historical characters ranging from Viking warriors, Jacobite clansmen, Garrison soldiers, Redcoats, a Knight of the realm and Scottish Wars of Independence characters. Some of these characters can be found at many of Historic Scotland's Castles and a few are found lurking at sights run by the National Trust for Scotland.
Battle Scar is the brain child of Ian Deveney, who has been involved with the history entertainment scene since 1992, entertaining in many of Scotland's main historical sites including Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and Fort George.
The Battle Scar team take great pride in the task of entertaining people who visit these properties. The presentations consist of the character in full period costume telling tales of times long gone and show the crowds the gruesome weapons of the time, along with an entertaining clothing demonstration, which involves some members of your party.
The characters which have been developed by Battle Scar have been researched in great depth and you can be assured that the information given in the presentations will be accurate. They take great pride in their work and you can be sure of top quality entertainment for your day.
