Jennifer is a very experienced and professional performer with her specialty being weddings. She plays the Clarsach (small Scottish harp) which is portable and compact enough for any wedding venue. Jennifer will play harp music throughout the ceremony ... for the guests arrival, the processional (bride's entrance), signing of the register, the recessional and while all your guests leave the church or ceremony venue. Plus, she can accompany the singing of hymns.
You can continue the music with Jennifer playing at the reception venue. As background music during the champagne reception or during the reception meal.
Her past performances include playing at the weddings of Madonna and Guy Ritchie, and Travis guitarist Andy Dunlop to Jo Monaghan. She also plays on occasions for Parliament and Royalty such as the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and Prince Edward. Other celebrities that Jennifer has played her harp for include Donald Trump, Gywneth Paltrow, Sting, Donatella Versace, Stella McCartney, Trudie Styler, Dame Maggie Smith, Rupert Everett and Fran Healy. Jennifer was also an ambassador for Visit Scotland promoting their 'Romantic Scotland' campaign.
Jennifer graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with a BA (Scottish Music) Honours in 2003, also having studied clarsach, singing and composition. Jennifer is now a full time freelance musician and involved with Yehudi Menuhin's Live Music Now! scheme, performing in a variety of venues.
