Elspeth Smellie - harpist and singer

Elspeth has played at many weddings, couples and guests have always been delighted by the special atmosphere of live Scottish harp and song. She enjoys playing in many different wedding locations, including castles, towers, hotels and churches, plus outside - weather permitting!

Some of the venues Elspeth has played include Borthwick Castle Hotel, Dryburgh Abbey, Traquair House, St. Andrew's Golf club and the Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh.

Elspeth's music would be perfect to accompany your ceremony, reception or dinner. Her music covers a selection of traditional Scottish music and her own compositions. Plus she sings a repertoire of traditional love songs with harp accompaniment - very popular for signing of the register!

The romantic tones of the Scottish harp will bring something extra special to your wedding day, and make a wonderful alternative if your wedding is being held in a venue without any organ music.

Over the years Elspeth has been involved in many musical projects including theatre, concerts, corporate events, radio, television and teaches regularly in schools and private tuition.
