Scott C's interest in magic began at the early age of 5 when called on to assist a holiday camp magician. Disappointed that the magic wore off after the curtain went down, he demanded his own magic set and soon graduated from those simple effects to the books of conjuring tricks offered by the local library. By the age of 15 he was making his mark as a regular performer on the children's party circuit and as a member of the Scottish Conjurer's Association, at charity events and public performances staged by the club.
Scott has now been working as a professional magical entertainer for over twenty years. From his starting point in children's magic he has expanded his expertise into the close up magic arena, beginning with private functions before moving on into the banqueting, restaurant and conference fields, working in some of the country's premier hotels and becoming the favoured magical entertainer on the books of an ever increasing number of entertainment agents.
In recent years he has won awards as Close-up magician of the Year and Children's entertainer of the Year. In addition, Scott appears as one of the stars of a major touring magic show "The Circus of Illusion" which has been appearing on the holiday camp circuit and in regional theatres during the summer season for several years. He has also branched out into juggling and balloon modelling, offering circus skills workshops which have proved very popular with schools and community organisations, and has appeared in the big top with Chipperfields Circus in Loudoun Castle theme park.
Scott has been a full time performer since 2001. He offers a wide range of magic to suit almost every requirement and venue, including cabaret, strolling and intimate table performances, catering for audiences from the age of 3 to 103.
Scott is also pleased to be inhouse magician for REACH (The Association for children with arm and hand deficiency).
In his spare time Scott produces personal appearances for Jeremy Beadle, with whom he appeared on the live TV show 'The All Star Talent Show'.
