Lori Silvan - 'Funky Chicken'

Funky Chicken is perfect for weddings as it provides entertainment for the younger guests and relieves their parents, to enable them to enjoy the speeches and meal in peace and know that their children are well looked after, and having the time of their life!!

Funky Chicken provides a range of fun and exciting activities for your kids, including face painting, circus skills, balloon modelling, magic, games and even arts and crafts. The activities can be based on a theme, i.e. animals, circus, princesses .... Lori is very open to suggestions.

Lori has a degree in Community Education (specialising in youth work), and has just completed an SVQ3 in childcare. In addition to being a children's entertainer since 1999, Lori works as a playleader in a pre-school and has two young children herself. She has extensive experience in working with children of all ages, and has worked at local highland shows, festivals, hotels, castles, schools, girl guides and play schemes. She has also trained teachers and other staff who work with young people.

Based in Crinan, Lori is originally from Argyll and this is where she feels most inspired.

Funky Chicken has recently started to specialise in children's entertainment for weddings and this has proved to be very popular. Lori has the ability to enchant and enthral children of all ages and creates a party atmosphere wherever she goes.
