The Nenthorn String Quartet are all classically trained, experienced and talented musicians who live in a tranquil village near Kelso, in the Scottish Borders. They delight in playing for weddings, parties and any function where an elegant and uplifting mood is required.
NSQ play all types of music from Vivaldi to Viva la Vida, from Bach to the Beatles and Pachelbel to Pararotti. If you can’t find the piece you want on their repertoire list they would be happy to turn it into a string quartet arrangement and play it for you so long as they’re given reasonable notice.
They love their work and want you to be happy on your special day so they always tailor the choice of music to the mood of the event. Our clients always compliment the quartet on the way they tailor the choice of music to the mood of any event and on the relaxed atmosphere they help to create.
