This phenomenal band sounds somewhere between Capercaillie and Wolfstone, a massive powerful sound that can be tamed to play for ceilidh dancing or let rip to astound your audience with excitement, virtuosity and passion all based on a genuine understanding of the music and tradition rarely found in Scottish music. Complemented by Scots songs from the rich, authentic voice of Ross Kennedy, Canterach can deliver the impact of a heavy-metal band and the sweetness of a lullaby plus everywhere in between with ease.
