First Class Show Band are a live showband blending 'top class' male and female vocals plus some of Scotlands leading musicians. Also included is a professional audio and lighting system.
Yvonne - Lead Vocalist
The front person of the bnd and a dynamic and powerful vocalist with over 12 years experience performing at some of Scotland's most prestigious hotels, castles and country houses.
Yvonne is excellent at motivating any audience and will take the crowd step-by-step through the Ceilidh dances.
Sam - Bass Guitar
Sam is not just a bass player but also a dynamic musician who is well respected on the Glasgow music scene. Having built a solid reputation as an inventive player with the Nimmo Brothers, Sam is now one of the most sought after sideman on the circuit and has proved himself to be a more than able stand-in for artists from almost any musical genre.
Gary - Drums & Percussion
Before Gary joined the First Class Show Band his experience spanned from performing with the famous Drums of Black Bottle Drum Core at the Modern Drummer Festival 2001 in New Jersey to playing with the renowned Glasgow based blues/rock band Roost.
Katie - Vocals
'A woman with a truly exceptional voice.' Simon Cowell. Katie joined the First Class Show Band at the end of 2006 to create their new X-Factor package. With influences from Aretha Franklin to Bonnie Raitt and tones reminicent of Glasgow's own Maggie Bell, Katie is one of the best vocal talents on the UK music scene.
Jack - Piano, Keyboards & Backing Vocals
Jack is the First Class Show Bands musical director and has over 20 years experience in music. He's played at some amazing venues at all levels from tinkling the ivories at some of Scotland's top hotels to rocking the roof off King Tuts in Glasgow and the Rome Paladium in Italy. He also doubles as the bands sound engineer.
Accordionist
The First Class Ceilidh Band can team up with a wide range of professional accordionists to offer their Ceilidh package. They only use the very best players available on the Scottish traditional music scene, adding an authentically Scottish feel to any evening.
