Ceilidh Dana (Gaelic for 'Lively') is a two or three-piece ceilidh band bringing together some of our top solo acts to offer you an evening of fine music, good craic and as much dancing as you have the energy for.

Ben Edom (Guitars, Bodhran and Vocals), Andrew Lyons (Fiddle and Cittern) and Grant Milne (Highland and 'Reel' pipes) are each fine solo musicians in their own right and you can read more about them on their own web pages. In Ceilidh Dana they combine their talents for the fun of playing dance music together combined with a few Scots songs and are happy to call the dances and teach the moves to anyone who's uncertain how they go.

Ceilidh Dana always use a hi-fi quality, compact, state-of-the-art PA system to give you a clear, sweet sound without taking up a lot of space or needing to be too loud but powerful enough to fill most venues (900 watts max). The band is available as a two-piece or three-piece according to your budget and the space you have available.
