Carmen Elite are a female vocal trio capable of spine tingleing close harmonies who perform all the dance-orientated party songs from the Sixties to the present day, including Motown, Soul, Disco and funk.
Suitable for all ages and all events, their show is guaranteed to have any audience singing along and dancing the night away.
Carmen Elite come with exceptional sound and lighting - and a great party atmosphere.
Having already sung together for a number of years, the three vocalists put their previous experience and training into practice and decided to raise money for two very important causes. On the 11th of November 2005 they organised a charity night offering an evening of live music, raffle prizes and fund raising tasks to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The night proved a great success with more people than expected raising over £4000 in total.
The overwhelming positive feedback inspired the girls to start Carmen Elite and, since then, the the band has performed at wide range of successful events and functions throughout Edinburgh and beyond.
